A Hopeful Partnership between Daejeon and K-water!

The Nine-Day Festival Heats Up Daejeon.

The city of Daejeon was transformed into a giant stage for the local festival from August 9 to 17. In its second year, the 0 O’clock Festival returned under the slogan, “Daejeon, the City that Never Sleeps, Fun that Never Stops!” For its part, K-water set up a communication booth and offered a variety of experience events.
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of its relocation to Daejeon, K-water created an exhibition zone and a commemorative message zone under the theme of “time travel to look back on the fifty years since its relocation to Daejeon and prepare for the next 100 years.” During the festival, K-water presented various hands-on contents including the “Water Gun Shooting Game: Stop Climate Crisis,” which aimed to raise awareness of the climate crisis, and the “Water Ball-Balancing Experience,” which was designed to promote balanced development among different regions across the country.
Meanwhile, “The Night of the Stars in Daejeon” was one of the major events organized by K-water to build a closer partnership with the local community. During the event, which made a memorable night for over 6,000 local residents and tourists, K-water President Yoon Seog-dae congratulated Daejeon on successfully hosting the festival and promised that K-water would continue to work closely with Daejeon’s citizens, adding, “As a major public organization based in Daejeon, K-water will remain actively involved in the local community and play a leading role in ushering in the era of balanced regional development.”
