57 minutes of short-lived yet nice surprise

A special space was set up at K-water’s headquarters from November 12 to 14. Decorated with the theme of Christmas, the Merry Christmas with Bangwoori pop-up store opened to run for only 57 minutes in celebration of the 57th anniversary of its foundation.

News of the pop-up store selling goods featuring lovely K-water mascot Bangwoori spread quickly and people gladly waited in line, skipping lunch, even before the store opened. The store was crowded with new employees who have recently joined K-water, die-hard Bangwoori fans, and employees who rushed to the store to buy gifts for their children. The product lineup includes huge, fluffy Bangwoori face cushions, a trio of Bangwoori keyrings in the perfect size to hang onto purses and backpacks, Bangwoori dolls in Santa costumes, calendars, and postcards with Christmas-themed designs. People were excited and thrilled to see all these lovely goods like kids standing before Santa Claus to get presents. Many of the products were sold out a mere 30 minutes after the store opened. A lot of people failed to buy what they wanted and felt disappointed as they had to leave the store empty-handed.

The pop-up store was set up to celebrate the 57th anniversary of K-water’s foundation and raise brand awareness. All of the proceeds from the sales of goods will be used to help the financially disadvantaged stay warm and happy as the year approaches its end. This is why K-water employees were quick and glad to open their wallets at the pop-up store. Bangwoori goods were used as a vehicle to express thanks and love to family and friends and as a small gesture to give back to the community.
