A paradise for surfers, Jungmun Saekdal Beach is where the first surf clubs in Jeju were established. The wave conditions are ideal for surfing from June to October, and the best time is during the tide shift from low to high tide. With a spacious surf zone of 300–400 meters, you can ride the waves freely. The beach offers both “beach breaks” for beginners and “reef breaks” for those up for a challenge, making it perfect for all levels.

Famous as the best surf spot in North Gyeongsang Province, Sinhangman offers thrilling rides. Waves begin to break steeply near the breakwater, and long rides are possible when the waves are good. The waves are gentler about 100 meters to the south, making the section perfect for longboarding. Naturally divided into shortboard and longboard zones, surfers can enjoy their preferred style. On high-wave days, however, strong currents can pull surfers outside the breakwater, so safety precautions are a must.

It’s also less affected by tidal changes, allowing year-round surfing. However, currents near the breakwater are strong and boat traffic is present, requiring surfers to exercise caution at all times.

True to its name, Namyeol Sunrise Beach offers stunning views of the sun rising over the horizon, making it an ideal place to enjoy both surfing and nature’s beauty. Located in the warm south, it’s surfable even in winter. Southeastern winds create perfectly sized waves from May to October. With no islands blocking the beach, you can directly experience premium waves from the South Pacific. This quiet spot is ideal for those who want to surf peacefully in a serene setting.

As a surfing mecca where seasoned surfers gather, Songjeong Beach sits where the South Sea and East Sea meet. With shallow waters and warm temperatures, it's perfect for beginners, too. Surfing at sunset on the ocean here is nothing short of magical.
