Busan Christmas Village

This winter, Busan’s Busan Cinema Center transforms into a Santa Village spanning 10,000 pyeong (approx. 33,000 m²). The “Christmas Village” creates a special world that lives up to its name. Based on the concept of “a temporary space designated by Santas overwhelmed by global Christmas gift demands,” several themed areas are set up within this world. At the heart of it all is the Tree Plaza, where a towering 8-meter tree lights up the center of the village. Other fun booths include “Santa’s Treasure Vault” featuring gifts carefully selected by Santa himself and “Santa Village Forge,” an experience zone where visitors can create their own Christmas presents. The food market offers special seasonal menus including stews and handcrafted currywurst, letting visitors fully soak up the Christmas spirit.
Here, tourists are known as “elves.” Join the Santas who have raced around the world preparing for Christmas, and create unforgettable holiday memories.

Gwanghwamun Market in Seoul

During the Christmas season, visiting Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul can make you feel as if you have stepped into a European village. "Gwanghwamun Market" brings the culture of European Christmas markets to Korea, offering a variety of experiences that engage all your senses. The landmark is an impressive 15-meter-tall Christmas tree. In addition, a grand gate reminiscent of a European castle, a fairytale-like carousel, and the Nutcracker House accompanied by classical music provide dazzling sights that catch your eye. Moreover, more than 100 booths offer handmade crafts, seasonal goods, and food suitable for the Christmas season. You might even get the unexpected opportunity to take a commemorative photo with Santa.
Gwanghwamun Market becomes even more enchanting after sunset. Snowflake lights and snow bubbles swirling through the air evoke a white Christmas; especially on weekends, jazz bands, carol performances, and LED light shows add a romantic winter atmosphere.

Buncheon Santa Village, Bonghwa

Buncheon Santa Village is a village where it feels like Christmas every day of the year. Located deep in the mountains in Bonghwa—known as “the Siberia of Korea” due to its long winters—Buncheon Station boasts of a snowy landscape throughout winter. Surrounded by layers of mountains and clustered red-roofed buildings, it immediately brings Christmas to mind. This inspired the creation of the unique "Buncheon Santa Village."
At the Buncheon Station lobby decked in red and green, a cute Rudolph figure pulling a sled marks the entrance to the Santa village. You can also see playful Santas dressed in summer vacation outfits. At the Santa Post Office, letters you send will arrive the following Christmas.
To enjoy Buncheon Santa Village in a unique way, take a ride on the V-Train, the Baekdudaegan gorge train. Traveling between the gorges of Baekdudaegan Mountains by train lets you experience the feeling of Santa sledding through the snow.
